Imagine Scans

We offer a cute but delightful choice of scans - a selection that we hope will embrace your needs, not over complicate your choice and provide a service that will successfully support you to Imagine your Baby.

Our Guidance:

Imagine Baby scans must be in addition to your NHS antenatal care scans and must not be considered as an option if you are having pain, bleeding or have concerns with you or your baby’s wellbeing - please always contact your NHS provider with any concerns. We are there to comfort your pregnancy with additional imaging, however, your NHS care is the most important care pathway for you and your baby.

Imagine Baby does not provide detailed diagnostic or screening assessment of your baby. You must always have an Obstetric and Midwifery team looking after your pregnancy journey – your NHS will provide all your pregnancy scans to monitor your pregnancy. It is important to note that ultrasound assessment has limitations and not all anomalies or concerns with your pregnancy are detectable from scan. These limitations extend to predicting baby’s sex, 100% accuracy cannot be assured - you will be asked to confirm you accept these limitations before you consent to your scan with Imagine Baby.

Imagine Baby offers ultrasound scans, in addition to your NHS diagnostic and screening scans with a peek at baby at times when you need a little reassurance in your pregnancy and allows for some relaxing bonding at a time that suits you, in your pregnancy journey.  Although ultrasound assessment of your pregnancy is limited at today’s scan, as per description on the Imagine Baby website - if any potential concerns are identified today, this will be discussed with you and a report of the scan will be given for you to discuss with your midwife/antenatal team. The Sonographer may also ask to discuss findings directly with your healthcare provider.
